I am a clothes whore. And while it's true that not all of that (CLEAN) laundry is mine, I must admit that even with those items on the bed, my walk in closet and 2 dressers are full. To overflowing. It's sad, I know, but I just can't get rid of clothing. I must admit I don't buy as much as I used to, but as I haven't really changed shape or size in the past 15 years, I keep clothes until they're completely threadbare, and even then I'm so emotionally attached to them I have a difficult time letting them go. Perhaps I need to work on that.
Guess you wouldn't appreciate my offer of help to *de-clutter* said closet and drawers?

ReplyDeleteYes, I still have that dress. It's one of those sentimental pieces I can't quite get rid of... even though the last time I wore it was years ago, and seems to be a lot shorter than I remember... or I was a lot skankier than I remember... probably the latter!
ReplyDeleteI desperately need an impartial authority voice telling me to cut the emotional cords and just get rid of the clothes- but I cleaned out some a few months back and already miss certain items I wanted to use as costume pieces for this photo project... I'm screwed.
