Ever dream of having your name up in lights? I never have. Fame? Nope, not for me. Fortune I'd go for, maybe even glory... (flashback to Indianna Jones- "Fortune and Glory, Kid. Fortune and Glory.")
Ok, so this isn't my full name... I was doing it in the closet so that it was dark enough. Maybe I'll get outside and do this where there's space to spread out, widen the camera angle, and spell my full name. Until then, just my initial (which is how I'm known to most folks anyways).
Ok, so I've been scouring the internet for inspiration lately, and this is mostly stealing off of a photo I saw... somewhere... but that's the problem. I can't give credit to my original inspiration. Granted, the original I saw wasn't done up as comedy/tragedy... but it's still pretty much a stolen idea.
This photo totally did not turn out how I was hoping it would. I will need to work on this some more to get the effects I want, but sadly today I just do not have the motivation.
Although on a plus note- I am officially 1/3 of the way through this crazy thing!!! Trying to kick my creativity back into gear, and this is a big acheivement. I honestly didn't think I'd even make it this far when I started.
So, something went wrong with my labels... tags.... whatever you want to call them... so I tried to fix it, and suddenly there are a few posts out of order. This distresses me greatly as I've been trying for the past 119 days to keep my photos published IN ORDER, even if not published the day they were taken. *sigh* perhaps some future editing will sort the problem out. Probably not. I'm sorry dear readers, it was not intentional. I didn't realize editing an older post would bump it to the top- otherwise I would have left the annoying labels with bizarre symbols and coding in them.
Not feeling very inspired today... Actually I haven't been feeling very inspired for my 365 photos in a while. Sheesh this is getting rough. I'm nearing the 1/3rd mark (about a week away) and it's not easy I tell ya! Fingers crossed for inspiration and motivation!
So, for today's pic, something unprecedented. I couldn't decide which one I liked best. So I'm submitting my top 3 of the day. My hubby helped me newsprint up a frame, and voila- instant inspiration for a fun day at the park! Or at least a few minutes while I destroyed the paper. So, tell me what you think! Which do you like best and why?
#1 - I See You
#2 Breaking Free
Or #3 Outside the Frame (yes, I know that's a Paul Brandt song... thinking up pic titles is just as much a challenge as coming up with ideas for the pic sometimes).
This burger joint was featured on Man Vs. Food apparently. This place will cook their bacon and stack it in a giant brick... Red Mill Burgers. Sadly they do not have any photos of the bacon brick online that I could find, but trust me, it was impressive. Bacon, the size of a cinder block.
Spent the day representing P.R.T. all over downtown Seattle... but decided to take a cool shot of me in one of the gazillion mirrors in the hotel room (because you all know I have a thing for mirrors and photography).
Saw what is probably my new favouritest quote the other day...
"I exist in a superposition of gender; it is only by interaction with an outside observer that I settle into some semblance of male or female." Seen on genderfork.
Still taking my pics, but as I'm not at my "home" computer (and am paying an arm and a leg for hotel internet access), I still won't be uploading anything until I return to Victoria. Just a few more days!
