Well folks, if you haven't aready been able to guess it, life has become a bit of a whirlwind for me lately. I'm still working insane hours, with still no end in sight. Hubby and I have also recently bought a house, so there has been the hunting/viewing/offering/financing etc to go through. And a lot of financial institutions are NOT open for mortgage business outside of Monday-Friday 9-5. We've managed to get it all done though, and so far it looks like Christmas in our own house this year.
It's exciting, it's nerve wracking, it's stressful, and it's time consuming. We need to pack, give notice where we live, and book holidays for the actual MOVE day. And today we hear the sellers *might* want to bump up the closing date- which would mean even LESS time than we think we have. I'm all for moving sooner rather than later, but we still need to give notice and book holidays, and I want to make sure they're for the correct days.
When I do have moments of alertness that isn't consumed by work or moving, I'm working on making Christmas gifts for family and reading books for my Book Club. Sure, both are purely my own choice- but really, both relax me, whereas computers frustrate me.
So life is busy. I seem to neglect my computer the most. It also doesn't help that amidst all of the chaos, my photos have become uninspired (in my opinion). I take a quick pic to say it's done, and then move on with my evening. Theres no prep, no polish. True, you get a raw snapshot of my day, but since I'm not happy with it, I'm not excited to share it. So I don't rush to the computer to upload it right away like I have with some of my favourites.
So please be forgiving of the long delays between updates, as I have a feeling it's going to get worse before it gets better.
